Green Shade; solo show of unique and panoramic prints @ Dan Welden Gallery. Sag Harbor, NY. July 2- August 3, 2025.

The exhibition’s title refers to a line in Andrew Marvell’s 17th century pastoral poem ‘The Garden’ and features elements of botanical and geological studies along with embedded literary texts.

A collaborative event on 7/27/25, directed by LB Thompson brings together extraordinary poets, creative writing students from Long Island Universities and local readers to respond and ‘backfire’ with images displayed in the gallery.

IN THE COMPANY OF BOOKS; James Mustich, President and publisher of the legendary A Common Reader also created The Barnes and Noble Review and interview podcast and served as Head of Apple Books. The Washington Post listed his great 1000 Books to Read Before You Die as one of the 50 best non-fiction books of the year in 2018. His widely read newsletter will be available on substack starting October 2024. Jim has introduced me to many influential books and I’m pleased that my doings have been, on occasion, compatible.
